Overview

From Alstonefield we walk westwards over field paths to Wetton. We then walk north-east skirting round the eastern edge of  Wetton Hill, over the road at Gateham Grange and up towards Brown Knoll Plantation. We turn back southwards via Narrowdale and field paths to Alstonefield.

The start point is the small Peak District car park by the Public Toilets which now charges £4.75 for over 4 hours. Alternatively, park close by at Alstonefield village hall car park on Beresford Lane (Donations of at least £1 Requested) and walk to the start point by the toilets.
