Monyash, Magpie Mine, 9 miles

From the car park in Monyash, we head to Flagg on lanes and field paths before turning east to the entrance to Deep Dale. From the dale bottom, we walk above the River Wye through Great Shacklow Wood before dropping down to the river bank. We then climb through Little Shacklow Wood to Sheldon before returning to Monyash via the Magpie Mine.
