We are the Biddulph Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This 4-mile easy walk starts from the Boat Inn pub, Basfordbridge Lane, Cheddleton. We start the walk heading west along the Cauldon canal passing the Flint Mill. Exiting onto the old track for a short time we enter woodland then up to Cheddleton Hospital where we will have a drinks stop and a visit to the summer house. Taking the tramway footpath through the woods and crossing the A520 and into Cheddleton Heath Road. Here we descend through fields onto Station Road turning left and back to the car park.
Although this is NOT a pub walk it will be open and serving food.
