Overview

This will be a 6.5 miles Moderate circular walk before the we commence the AGM at the Square Deal, 22-23 The Square, Huntly.  The walk will be from the centre of Huntly up Clashmach Hill, an open ridge lying southwest of Huntly.  The ascent offers a pleasant walk with extensive views.  Straightforward ascent on a grassy track and path, can be muddy in places.  Descent on sometimes wet path cut through gorse.   We will pick up the River Deveron riverside path, which is overgrown in places, and walk back to the centre of Huntly.

Bring a snack and something to drink for the walk and a packed lunch which we will have at 1pm before the AGM, which will commence at 2pm.  Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided from 1.15pm.
