This will be a short circular walk through the Inverurie/Keith Hall area before the AGM at the Garioch Heritage Centre (Meeting Room), Loco Works Road, Inverurie, AB51 4FY. The walk will be led by Henry Webb. The walk will cross the railway bridge and head up the Oldmeldrum Road to the North Lodge then through the Keith Hall Estate, belonging to the Earl of Kintore. This comes out at the South Lodge. We will then take either the direct route up the High Street to the Heritage Centre or a slightly longer route through the quieter back streets and Kellands Park to the Heritage Centre. Bring a snack and something to drink for the walk.
Please bring something for lunch or purchase lunch at Cafe Loco in the Heritage Centre, or other facilities nearby. Please note we will not be permitted to eat a picnic lunch in the Meeting Room at the Heritage Centre.
The Meeting Room will be available from 1pm. The AGM will commence at 2pm. Tea, coffee and mini tray bakes will be provided during the AGM.
During the meeting we will discuss local matters, and will also be joined by Andrew Bachell from Ramblers Scotland Strategic Committee and Brendan Paddy, Director Ramblers Scotland who will update us on Ramblers GB and Ramblers Scotland work. The Agenda and Annual Report will be available before the meeting.
