A Leisurely to Moderate low level walk starting at Fetternear Estate car park. There are a few inclines on the walk mainly at Place of Origin. The walk will allow us to explore Bishops Palace, St Ninian's Church ruin, 1 Lochlan and the Place of Origin.
The terrain is mainly forest paths at the Fetternear Estate side and then quiet road after the Shakin Bridge. It might be muddy as we ascend up to the vantage point of the Place of Origin, especially if there has been rain.
We will enjoy spectacular views towards Bennachie from the Place of Origin.

Good walking boots and waterproofs are essential. Walking poles advisable if needed. Bring food and drink.
