Overview

The walk goes along the Rattlebrook railway track, over Great Nodden and around Great Links Tor, passing near the ruins of Bleak House. We then continue to the former Wheal Frederick mine, then follow Doe Tor brook down to the River Lyd, which we cross at Nodden Gate

Typical Dartmoor walk, moorland, rough paths and tracks, bogs, river crossing, one stile, uphills and downhills.  When the path leaves the track it becomes very wet and boggy, waterproof boots needed.
