We are the Broxtowe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a walk from the pretty village of Ashford in the Water. The walk takes in Deepdale and Lathkill Dale before returning to Ashford via the Magpie Mine.
The path through Lathkill Dale is rocky and needs care and the return descent from the Magpie Mine to Ashford is steep. If you use walking poles its recommended that you take them.
There are toilets at the start and at the entrance to Lathkill Dale.
The car park is owned and managed by the Parish Council. It operates with an honesty box and the suggested donation is £2. There are toilets in the car park. There is also some parking on the road available.
