Overview

Starting from Cromford Wharf public car park (P&D) we follow the Cromford Canal as far as the High Peak Junction, then climb up through Bow Wood to follow Hearthstone Lane to Riber. Passing Riber Castle we drop down to Matlock for a lunch stop. In the afternoon we follow the river for a short while, then cross and climb above Matlock Bath before coming down in Cromford and returning to the car park.
