Beinn a' Ghlò has three Munro summits. After an initial approach along a track, the route crosses a boggy area (with pitched stones) to the start of the climb up the first Munro – Carn Liath. The climb steepens towards the top then, after the summit, the path follows a delightful broad ridge to the second Munro, Braigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain. There is then a steep descent and ascent to Càrn nan Gabhar. The planned route continues south over a Munro top (Airgiod Bheinn), then down a steep bouldery slope to a boggy path and, eventually, to the return track.
Estimated finish time: 6.15pm off hill, 8.00pm back at West Port.
This walk may be changed to Sunday 13th April depending on weather forecast.
