Overview

This is a seldom tramped route to Craigengar Hill with good views from the top. It’s an out and back walk up to the West Water Reservoir and then over Fadden and Catstone Hills to Craigengar Hill. On the top we find sandstone slabs dating back to 1897 with the names of generations of the Dunlop family from Dolphinton. A prize to the one who can read them!
