Overview

A hilly Downs walk starting from Bo Peep car park and looping round the edge of Alfriston before returning along the South Downs Way. The route goes over rolling uplands with lovely views and down old sunken Sussex footpaths.

Some sections of the path are overgrown, poles if you use them will be useful. Lots of grassland so ticks are also a possibility. This is a hilly walk, with quite long downward and upward sections.

Bo Peep car park which is at the top of the Bo Peep Bostal. Travelling east on A27, shortly after you pass the left turn to Selmeston, at next crossroads take right turn up Bo Peep Lane. Car park is right at the end of the lane. Enter car park with caution- there are a few big potholes
