The final western end of our exploration of the North Downs Way, we again start from the lovely Surrey village of Gomshall at the foot of the steep chalk ridge which we will ascend head on! We follow the top of the ridge to Newlands Corner and then descend and re- ascend to St Martha's Chapel. The final stretch of this walk follows the Wey to Guildford Castle and the picturesque High Street in time for a cafe visit, shopping or a riverside pub.
