Overview

We start from The Turners Arms, Bollington at 10.00am and proceed to Hedge Row, contour round Billinge Hill to Rainowlow, Smith Lane then footpath to Lamaload Reservoir. Follow Hooleyhey Lane to S end of Lamaload then footpaths to Valeroyal, Hordern Farm, Gritstone Trail to Rainow. Footpath from Tower Hill past Waulkmill Farm and back into Bollington. Coffee and lunch stops - please bring packed lunch. A fairly gentle walk - the biggest climbs are around Lamaload. There are several stiles to negotiate. We expect to finish by 3.00pm
