Overview

This a post Xmas walk along the north bank of the River Trent.

From the Trentside car park opposite the Unicorn Hotel, we take the path along the trend westward toward Burton Joyce. From here we carry on to the Ferry Inn on the riverside at Stoke Bardolph and then on to Stoke Lock, returning by the same route.

Altough the walk is on good paths, some of which are surfaced, some mud at this time of the year is almost inevitable.

There are no stiles and the walk is level.

There will be a drinks break about an hour into the walk at Burton Joyce Station, and lunch will be at Stoke Lock. There is seating at both locations.

If you would like to join this walk please contact the Leader using the email link. Maximum number of walkers is 20.
