Overview

Starting in Melbourne, the walk route goes via Staunton Harold Reservoir and continues to Calke Abbey Limeyards. The wider Calke estate to the north is then walked passing through deciduous and conifer woodlands towards Ingleby Toft where there are views of the River Trent. The circular walk continues via St Brides( information board). A mix of footpaths and bridleways are used with a little minor road walking.
There are not many stiles.
