Bridgend to Llantwit Major Coastal linear walk. Need to register with Walk Leader.

Catch train from Cardiff Central to Bridgend to arrive in time for 10.00 start of walk from Bridgend station exit.

From Bridgend Station the walk leaves town following the Ogmore River then through farm land leading to Ogmore Moor. Here there is the option of crossing the river via a footbridge or further down the river via stepping stones - more fun! We then join the Wales Coast Path leading to the coast. The remainder of the walk heading south/east involves a variation of cliff top or wide expanses of beach with dramatic cliffs of the Heritage Coast as a backdrop on the one side and the Bristol Channel on the other. The walk finishes with a well earned drink at one of the Hostelries in Llantwit Major before returning by train to Cardiff.
