We cross back over the weir bridge to Hambleden Lock and follow the south bank through Aston village to Hurley. From Hurley to Marlow, we follow the diversion path as the footbridge at Temple is closed. The diversion takes us through Temple and then along the road past Bisham Sports Centre all the way to Marlow Bridge We catch the train home from Marlow. Buy an off-peak return train ticket to Marlow. Bring a drink and packed lunch.
Meet at Slough Station to catch the Elizabeth line train at 10:17 (Langley 10:13) to Maidenhead where we change to the Marlow Branch line which departs at 10.33 and arrives in Marlow at 10:56. We then walk into the town to catch the Wycombe to Reading bus 850 at 11.25 to arrive at Mill End at 11.37 to start the walk.
