A scenic exploration of both sides of the valley above Cornholme, in search of mysterious stone carvings.
As ever, Calderdale's climate can be somewhat unpredictable, so please dress appropriately for the forecast conditions including footwear. There may be some steeper inclines to negotiate and moorland can be muddy at any time of year, so walking poles might be helpful to maintain balance.
Bring a packed lunch and drink as no cafes will be en route, however Todmorden has a number of pubs and cafes for post-walk refreshments!
Meet outside the Old Library at the bottom of Parkside Road and the junction with Burnley Road. There is some on-road parking but this is limited so please consider carsharing or public transport.
