We are the Calderdale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a leisurely circular walk on established tracks with good views over the valley. A good chance for new walkers to try out their walking boots and join a chatty and sociable group.
As always, Calderdale is famously unpredictable in terms of its weather, and moorland can be wet underfoot at any time of year so please be prepared, especially with footwear.
If you are parking at the pub, only do so if you intend to stop for a drink afterwards, but there is plenty of on-road parking on the Old Town road.
Please bring a packed lunch and a drink to enjoy al fresco!
