Be aware that there will be some sharp inclines at the start and end of the walk. Weather can be unpredictable in the south Pennines, so please dress appropriately for the forecast conditions, including footwear. Terrain can be somewhat wet and muddy following rain.

Meet in the main carpark behind Todmorden Sports Centre. Ample parking, although the park can be busy on a sunny day. Todmorden is well-served by public transport, both bus and train and the meeting point can be reached by a pleasant walk through Centre Vale Park.
