Overview

A fabulous scenic walk up to Harden Moor, and if conditions allow we will visit the waterfall. We will visit the quarry, climb to the top of the moor, and on into the St Ives estate, taking in Lady Blantyre's Rock and the Coppice Pond, before returning to the start via Farrand's Folly.

As always, Pennine weather conditions are somewhat unpredictable so it is advised to ensure you are equipped for the forecast weather. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy al fresco. As the walk takes place in the height of summer we would recommend some sunscreen and water to keep you going!

The path past the waterfall has its hazards and we advise care....it may be additionally difficult if bringing a dog or smaller children so we do not recommend that this walk is suitable for either for safety reasons.
