Overview

Leaving from the Chepstow Castle we cross the river and out to the peninsular of Lancaut. With good views across the River Wye we pass old quarries and cliffs, through parkland and fields to the hamlet of Lancaut. Some of the paths on the outward ramble will be on the Offa's Dyke path. After visiting the ruined chapel at Lancaut we will take a route back to Chepstow via parts of the Gloucestershire Way.
