Overview

WWR Challenge Walks Higher, Longer, Faster
A 13 mile walk to Tintern Abbey and back, using the Wye Valley Walk on the outward leg and Offa’s Dyke on the return.  The paths run high above the Wye Valley with wonderful views and great interest throughout. There will be 900m of climb.  Take provisions for 3 stops.  Cafes and pubs available in Tintern and Chepstow.  A walking pole is highly recommended.

Drive to Chepstow and cross using the M48 bridge. Turn off into Chepstow town centre before the road crosses the Wye. Park at the Drill Hall carpark on Lower Church Street , or the Castle carpark on Bridge Street, and we’ll meet at the Mon Life Café next to the Chepstow Tourist Information by the Castle car park .
