Hinton Charterhouse, Friary, Freshford, Sharpstone, Pipehouse, Hog Wood and glimpses of Hinton Priory and Hinton House. Woodland, hillsides with views, the Frome Valley, Titfield Thunderbolt connections, fine architecture and even some Second World War trenches in Hog Wood, not forgetting connections with Carthusian monks. A veritable smorgasbord of a walk, with a few ups-and-downs and one steep stepped path. Bring snack.
