A walk using quiet lanes, footpaths, the White Horse Trail and green lanes with good views along the edge of the downs. One steepish descent and a couple of steepish ascents. Generally rolling countryside.
Expect stiles and some mud. Sticks may also be useful. There may be livestock en route. Bring refreshments for one stop. We will be back for lunch.
You must book with the leader in the week preceding. Text preferred. You are not confirmed until you get a reply. Dogs are at the leader's discretion.
Meet: Quemerford Gate Layby. This is a large layby off the A4. It is on your right handside as you approach Cherhill from Calne direction. There is generally a burger van sign.
