We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
10-mile linear walk; moderate to brisk pace; undulating terrain.
Route: along the Chess Valley - Chorleywood Common - Sarratt Bottom - Chenies - Latimer - Blackwell Farm - Chesham.
Drop-out point after 5 miles: South from Latimer to Chalfont and Latimer Station.
Lunch: The Red Lion, Chenies after 4 miles, or picnic nearby.
Meet outside the entrance to Chorleywood Station - Station Approach - at 10.50.
Travel: Baker Street 10.04 arrive Chorleywood (Zone 7- Met line) at 10.46.
Ticket/Fare: A ticket covering TfL Zones 1 - 9 is required. Freedom Pass valid.
Finish: Chesham Station (Zone 9 - Met line) at about 3.45.
