This walk will be led by Ged Leach.
The walk is a circular from Bishop Wilton but to avoid parking in the village we will catch the 9.30 bus to Bishop Wilton arriving at 9.45. STARTING PROMPTLY AT 9.45am ( those travelling by car please note!) the walk is via Worsendale, Painsthorpe, Worm Dale, Bradenham Dale, Wayrham Dale and back to Bishop Wilton via Deepdale and Crow Wood. Bus back to Pocklington at 14.30pm arriving at 14.45. There will be contingency plans for anyone missing the bus back for any reason. However, walking at a moderate pace and allowing for breaks there is plenty of time to enable everybody to catch the bus back. The dry valleys are very pleasant and the walk back through Deepdale ,though challenging follows the easier route and ends with the excellent view of Bishop Wilton from the Lord of the Rings Seat at the top of Old Wood.
The walk is locally graded Moderate Plus.
No dogs except registered assistance dogs with the consent of the leader.
