Overview

This walk will be led by Tony Ashbridge.

Starting from Bracey Bridge where there should be the opportunity to partake of an early morning bacon sandwich and coffee, we shall henceforth proceed over fields towards Kilham before walking along quiet country roads towards Burton Agnes. Leaving Burton Agnes we traverse more fields to the historic village of Harpham , the birthplace of St John of Beverley . We then head by road and field to the tranquil village of Lowthorpe before returning to Bracey Bridge . This is a predominantly flat walk affording the opportunity to pass through a succession of attractive East Yorkshire villages with excellent views over the eastern edge of the Wolds on the stretch between Kilham and Burton Agnes.
