This walk will be led by Tony Corrigan.

In addition to following parts of the Chalkland Way and Yorkshire Wolds Way trails, this walk will use some tracks not yet on the definitive map. They are part of a project for right of way improvements in Fimber and Wetwang parishes. Relevant landowners have given permission for us to use these currently 'off piste' paths on this occasion to assess them as part of  the consultation process.

From Wetwang we will head north west towards Fimber then south west towards the A166 road. Crossing it we follow a green lane towards Fridaythorpe. Here we will pick up the Yorkshire Wolds Way and follow it towards Huggate, branching off onto the Chalklands Way for the north east return section to Wetwang.

Walking will use green lanes, cross & field edge paths. There is one stretch of approx 500m of field edge that is overgrown and contains brambles  - shorts not recommended!Only one road to cross otherwise road free.
