Overview

The walk will start/finish at the Cody Sports ground off the Old Ively Road at Farnborough.

This walk is a pleasant 6 miles. We will walk through woods to Fleet Pond, via the picturesque Hartland Village,  returning via the Basingstoke Canal, passing the iconic, and beloved 5 metre Wind Tunnel originally of the RAE recently QinetiQ.

The Grid Reference is SU 83792 53999: What3Words//miss.struck.invoices Directions to the sports ground from Fleet: Take the A323 from the Pondtail side of Fleet and, at the first roundabout take the second exit, Old Ively Road (which is in fact a no-through road) and follow it as far as you can. Turn left into The Fairway and the turn right on the apex of a bend to the left. You will see the car park in front of you.
