Overview

The walk is mostly within the forest area but includes crossing fields and alongside a golf course.

The walk is mostly on good gravel tracks within the forest but there are some sections that can be muddy after rain.

The main stop at about 2/3 round on the walk will be at the Alice Holt visitor centre where there is a cafe  with hot drinks and snack food plus toilet facilites.

Take the A325 south from Farnham, past Birdworld. In the dip in the road take a right onto Gravel Hill Road sign posted to Forestry Commission. Continue on Gravel Hill Road round a sharp right bend and after 800m the small car park is on the left.
