Overview

This is a winter walk that avoids all fields and (almost) all stiles, and should be (almost) mud free.

We will meet at Stock at the Pavilion Cafe at Congleton Park, there are toilet facilities adjoining. We will walk across the Park, and then to the start of Biddulph Valley Way. We follow the Way to Brookhouse and then walk on very quiet farm track / road to Timbersbrook. From there we ascend to the Cloud (we can avoid the steep flight of steps if preferred). From the Cloud we descend through Cloud Side and the Plantation, then return to Congleton.

There is a small car park (about 26 places) off Park Rd, which adjoins Congleton Park - W3W carbon.tags.power, CW12 1DR, but it can get busy. There is a larger long term car park at Princess St, W3W score.bend.figure, CW12 1DF as an alternative.
