A hike up to the moorland peak of Crow Hill from Mytholmroyd, taking in the standing stone of Churn Milk Joan. Some beautiful view of the Colne Valley, including the famous Stoodley Pike monument, to be expected.
Walk should be between 7 and 8 miles, and will have an ascent of 300 - 400m. Expect it to take 3.5 to 4.5 hours in total.
The start point is the entrance to Mytholmroyd train station, which has plenty of services from Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield. The 09:43am service from Leeds arrive into Mytholmroyd at 10:28am.
There are also at least three public car parks in Mytholmroyd.
There are no toilet facilities in Mytholmroyd station or along the walk.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
