Overview

Kinder Scout Walks (via Jacob’s Ladder) from Edale : 8, 9 + 10-Mile Routes – Peak District Walks

https://peakdistrictwalks.net/kinder-scout-walks-edale-jacobs-ladder/

One of the circular routes described on the link above.  Length will be weather / time dependent.

My preference is for 10 miles.

I last walked this particular route in it's entirety on 06.04.14, so some time spent navigating may be required for the valley areas (Grindsbrook Booth in Edale - Upper Booth - Jacobs Ladder).

I last walked part of the valley route on 23.02.19, when I walked from Edale to Upper Booth, then up Crowden Brook to Kinder Edge, to Kinder Low and Kinder Downfall, and back to Edale by Grinds Brook.

I walked along Kinder Edge on 25.05.24, when I did the Edale Skyline (which passes Kinder Woolpacks and the top of Jacobs Ladder).

Please bring spare warm clothing and waterproofs.
