Overview

When I've previously led the Great Ridge (Mam Tor to Lose Hill) for TAH, it has been as a circular route from Hope, walking across fields to Castleton, ascending Mam Tor, walking the Ridge, and descending Lose Hill; or as part of the Edale Skyline route, which includes Rushup Edge.

I last walked Rushup Edge and Mam Tor on 25.05.24.

This walk is a route from Edale.  Some time spent navigating the valley areas may be required.

The route described on the link below doesn't include an ascent of Mam Tor, so I will follow the route described on the link as far as Mam Nick.  I will then ascend Mam Tor, and walk the Ridge as far as Hollins Cross, then descend to Edale.

The link below describes the return to Edale from Hollins Cross (point 15).
