Overview

A gradual ascent on forest tracks we visit some of Crynant Forest's hidden treasures with a short steeper rough section on St Illtyds Walk before joining Sarn Helen then we make our way back on the forest tracks with a snack stop on the way.

Good supportive footwear required and clothing appropriate to the weather. Dogs welcome.

Parking at Cefn Coed Colliery Museum Car Park (permanently closed) where the old railway engine is.
