NOTE: This walk is for pre-booked group members of East Radnor Walking Holiday only.
A moderate walk taken at a leisurely holiday pace to give us our first experience of the glorious sea views to be had in this area.
Short walkers can join us at the start for a pretty inland route before joining the coastal path at Aber Fforest for our lunch stop and swim option. We all then walk along the coast to Cwm-yr-Eglwys where short walkers can take a flat, leisurely route back to their cars giving a walk of 3.4 miles, 460 ft climb. Longer walkers will proceed around the headland with a steep but worthwhile climb up to Pen-Clawdd viewpoint before returning to Pyllgwaelod.
The phone signal in the whole area is extremely poor so please make sure you arrive on time for walks as you probably won't be able to contact us to wait for you.
Toilets at Pwllgwaelod and Cwm-yr-Eglwys and hopefully also ice creams.
Bring your lunch to eat en route and swimsuits if wished.
