NOTE: This walk is for pre-booked group members of East Radnor Walking Holiday only.
This is truly a magnificent ramble all along a wonderful section of coast with views right across Cardigan Bay to the Llyn Peninsular and Bardsey Island. Although it's a strenuous stretch of coastline, we will be going at a leisurely pace and will stop for coffee, lunch (with optional swim) and an afternoon break so pack accordingly!
Short walkers have the option of joining us at Pwllgwaelod car park (SN 00566 39869; w3w targeted.pylons.chaos), where we will stop for lunch and the brave (or foolish?) can swim. Please arrive by 1pm, although you may have to wait a little for us, depending on our progress. The afternoon walk starts with a short section reversing part of Monday's walk to Aber Fforest and continues into Newport, a much less strenuous stretch than the morning but still with wonderful views. This will give a short walk of about four and a half miles with a 680 ft climb.
Again, the cliff path can be narrow with steep drops so please watch your footing and wear suitable footwear.
There are toilets at Pwllgwaelod and Cwm-yr-Eglwys, hopefully ice creams and also swim opportinities.
The phone signal in the whole area is extremely poor so please make sure you arrive on time for walks as you probably won't be able to contact us to wait for you.
