NOTE: This walk is for pre-booked group members of East Radnor Walking Holiday only.
Join us for our last walk in this delightful hidden valley alongside the river Gwaun, which eventually flows into Fishguard (Abergwaun).
We start with a climb up to Penlan-Isaf, which gives you a magnificent view all along and across the valley, then walk along the side of the hill before dropping back to the valley, with a coffee break partway down. The walk continues westwards before crossing the river and returns mainly along the wooded valley floor, with only minor ups and downs. We will be back at the start point, which has a pretty picnic area, in time for lunch or a quick getaway if you prefer.
Short walkers can cross back early if wished, giving a walk of just over 4 miles with a climb of 580ft.
No loos but plenty of cover! We will only stop for coffee but you can eat lunch at the picnic area at the end of the walk, if wished
The phone signal in the whole area is extremely poor so please make sure you arrive on time for walks as you probably won't be able to contact us to wait for you.
