We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The route ascends Hollins Hill from the CP (no dogs April-November) then heads southwards to Chrome Hill, Parkhouse Hill (optional, see below) and via Earl Sterndale to High Wheeldon. From there, we'll descend to Crowdicote and go up to the Edge to follow a path parallel to Manifold Trail to Longnor. From there, it's cross country heading back towards Parkhouse to pick up leisurely Trail to Hollinsclough. Around 2800ft of ascent mostly achieved during the summiting of the four tops. This Dragon's Back route is a bit of a classic.
Geoff B will provide an option to bypass Parkhouse Hill by going round the base, and having an extra coffee stop ;-)
