A very varied walk including fields, streams, woods, plantations, reservoirs, moorland and for good measure a trig point thrown in (Snailsden at 1.567 ft). Also a lovely old tramway from the former quarries to the reservoirs below. Risk assessment: Stony tracks and muddy sections after heavy rain, could be slippery, including one steepish slippery descent of 30 feet - hold onto wire fence! One section with an awkward camber.
