Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

Using the Pennine Way to Millstone Edge ridge and the trig point (1,450ft) and on to Haigh Gutter to then take the Oldham Way past a number of reservoirs towards Denshaw.  We then pick up the Pennine Bridleway to dissect the Castleshaw reservoirs and take the Stanedge Trail back to the cars.  Risk assessment: Some rocky and bouldery paths. May be slippery mud after heavy rain. One steep ladder stile requires care.
