Meet in The Square, Elham, near the churchyard entrance. Please park considerately in The Square (spaces limited), Pound Lane or New Road by the school railings.
This walk heads across the Downland to Acrise then heads South to join the North Downs Way at Crete Road East with spectacular views over the Channel Tunnel Terminal, Folkestone and the Channel – all the way to France if we’re lucky! We’ll then return via Arpinge, Paddlesworth and Great Shuttlesfield to descend to Lyminge and follow the Elham Valley Way back to the start.
The route is hilly in places.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. There are toilets and refreshment opportunities in Elham.
