We are the White Cliffs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Meet at Portland Road car park (by The Green and behind the former Duke’s Head pub), Hythe. The start point is close to Red Lion Square which is served by frequent buses to/from Folkestone, Dymchurch and Canterbury. Park either in the pay to park car park – or lots of free parking nearby on the A259 either side of the Royal Military Canal.
Walk is along Elham Valley Way via Sene Farm, Dibgate Camp, Newington to Tolsford Hill, returning via the Saxon Shore Way to Saltwood then descending through Brockhill Country Park. Route is hilly.
Please bring food and plenty to drink with you. There are refreshment opportunities and public toilets in Hythe on our return.
