Overview

An evening walk from Middleton and along the Rochdale Canal to Mills Hill.

The walk takes us through the town to Wince Brook, a pleasant, wooded walk following the Brook to Middleton Junction.

Some of path, narrow, a fewsteps and low fences to easily step over. Some uneven paths so walking shoes are recommended.

Short walk from the Lees Brewery where we join the Rochdale canal for a walk to the Rose of Lancaster pub in Chadderton.   Those who wish can have a drink there before getting the train back into Manchester from Mills Hill Station (2 trains an hour)

Those parked in Middleton can get the 59 bus for a short ride back to the bus station.
