Overview

A short circular walk from Mills Hill Station via Hopwood Hall and Boarshaw Clough. Terrain is varied but mostly not too rough (good paths by Ramblers' standards), gradients mostly gentle There is one (easy) stile; 3 sets of steps down, and one set up. Only one set of steps has no handrail, and it's short & not too threatening. One set of steps (down to the canal) is steep and a bit challenging, but is short and has a good strong iron handrail. Otherwise good going, steady gradients or level , no steep ascents. Few hindrances, but sorry not wheelchair or buggy-friendly throughout.
