Overview

This popular circular walk begins at Kiplingcotes former railway station. 

Walking down the old railway track we go by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve noted for large varieties of butterflies in the summer. 

Heading towards Goodmanham Dale we walk part of the Yorkshire Wolds and Hudson Way and proceed to Arras Cottages. Walking down Kiplingcotes Lane we head to the Hudson Way nature reserve and back to the cars.

The Ramblers Area Committee have requested special care regarding parking at Kiplingcotes.Please do not park on the road leading to to the car park.Also please do not park blocking access to the houses or near the area of the weighbridge. In the car park there is a gate,please do not park in front of the gate.Also no photos to be taken near the houses and no walking on the old platforms as they are private property.
