Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform, at Piccadilly station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start. 

Transport to Walk Start: 09:51 train from Manchester Piccadilly (final destination Buxton).

Suggested Ticket: Off Peak Day Return to Furness Vale £9.90.

Walk Start: Furness Vale Railway Station at 10:30 am

Waypoints: Peak Forest Canal, Goytside Meadow, 3 Sundial Stones, Greenshall Lane, Bollinhurst Brook/Bridge, Cock Knoll, Black Hill, Southside Lower Track, Hawkhurst Head, Ringstone Clough,  Yeardsley Lane

Return Services: 15:07, 16:08, 16:35, x:08, x:35 until 22:35, then last train at 23:19.

Extra: No toilets en route. In wet weather, waterproof outdoor clothes are essential, and during winter time one particular path can be extremely muddy or boggy, proper walking boots are required. Optional pub visit at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs).
