Through Ashridge's Golden Valley, skirting Little Gaddesden and Dagnall up to Studham for lunch. Returning via Beechwood Farm and Hoo Wood. A fairly hilly walk through woodland and open fields with some lovely views.

Bring a picnic. Brief pub stop for a drink. Optional car share from High Barnet: Victor's Way/Moxon St Car Park, EN5 5TR, leaving 9:10 (21 miles).
Great Gaddesden. Turn left off the Leighton Buzzard Road then right into village - Church Meadow. Park where you can on the side of the road, and meet near the junction.
